Barbara Butch, claims her goal is to "unite people" and "share love."

⁣The self-proclaimed "fat, Jewish, queer lesbian" says she wants to spread "love through music," despite her portrayal being seen as blasphemous by many Christians.

Butch says the opening ceremony was intended to bring people together.

"Hi, my name is Barbara Butch. I'm a love activist, DJ, and producer based in Paris. My goal is to unite people, gather humans, and share love through music so that we can all dance and make our hearts beat as one. Music sounds better when we all come together!"

I don’t think she knows what the definition of “unite” means.
